Meridian has been producing music for the last 2 years. With influences ranging from downtempo beats of DJ Shadow, to the atmospheric drum and bass of LTJ Bukem and Faith Massive.
The music can be described as Jazz-flecked Jungle and smoky Trip-Hop tracks which relies on steady beats and breaks to propel cinematic atmospheres in a laid back mood. Resonating horns pulled from a seedy cafe, Eastern sound clips and illusory ambient textures fill each song with huge soundscapes and storytelling imagery.
